Here's a fun excecise. I have a fantasy about learning how to compose in counterpoint. Inspired by Bach's two part inventions, here's an arrangement of a polka in my first attempt at counterpoint.

I had a lot of fun arranging this for my baritone EC. Some other mucicians found the arrangement a bit heavy, so if you feel the same just omit  some of the harmony notes as you see fit. Farewell each friendly well known face
